from 50.00

Piecing together history with portions of old mills from throughout West Virginia, the Glade Creek Grist Mill was rebuilt in 1976 after a fire destroyed the original structure. Using the fast-running water of Glade Creek for power, the fully operational mill grinds corn, buckwheat and wheat into flour. Early in the 20th century more than 500 mills operated along the creeks of West Virginia.
